Quran Reading Course Information

Every Muslim is required to read the Holy Quran according to Tajweed guidelines. Our online Quran Reading Course supports this obligation by guiding learners toward a refined reading style. Building on the Noorani Qaida foundation, this course strengthens articulation, pacing, and overall fluency. Tutors design specialized exercises focusing on tricky letter combinations and extended harakaat. As you progress, you’ll notice improvements in both speed and accuracy, reflecting the consistent practice put in each session. Students also gain a heightened sense of self-assurance when reciting in front of others.

Course Structure

Course Outline

  • Recitation of the Quran with an appropriate Arabic accent
  • Recitation with Tarteel and Hadar
  • How the Quranic letter forms change over time
  • How much harakaat must be extended
  • The locations where recitation should either stop or continue
  • Use the Izhar, Ikhfa, Idgham, and Iqlab rules
  • Follow the Izhar-e-Shafawi, Ikhfa-e-Shafawi, and Idgham-e-Shafawi guidelines
  • Reading of the Qur’an from Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah An-Nas

Our tutors make each point practical by letting students read aloud and adjust course as needed. Emphasis is placed on how letters connect seamlessly, avoiding the choppy style sometimes seen in novices. Each completed Surah serves as a testament to your growing competence.

Requirements

The student must be familiar with Arabic vowels, including sukhoon, madd, tanween, and shaddah, as well as the makharij of Arabic letters, word joining, and reading. If you are unfamiliar, all you need to do is complete the Noorani Qaida Basic Course before beginning to read the Quran.

Users are advised to maintain consistent attendance for best results, as breaks in learning can lead to forgotten rules. Access to high-quality headphones or speakers is also beneficial for catching subtle sounds. Whenever questions arise, tutors remain available for clarification.

Once done with this course, students are able to read Quran with Tajweed.
